Scapegrace Distillery

Scapegrace is an independent New Zealand spirits producer known for its gin, single malt whisky and vodka. After years of searching for a permanent home, the team established its purpose-built distillery in Central Otago, surrounded by the dramatic landscapes of Mt Pisa and Lake Dunstan. The site has since become the heart of Scapegrace's grain-to-glass production.

New Zealand ingredients play an important role in production. Scapegrace's whisky programme uses 100% New Zealand barley and Southern Alps glacial water, while its gin production combines traditional juniper-led profiles with the potential for native New Zealand botanicals. The distillery also produces pot-distilled vodka.

The current Scapegrace collection spans gin, vodka and an expanding range of New Zealand single malt whisky. Sustainability is also incorporated into the distillery's long-term strategy, including initiatives focused on biodiversity, reducing its carbon footprint and supporting social, cultural and community projects.
