Hector’s Premium Dry Gin is the flagship expression from Hector’s Spirits, handcrafted in small batches in Aotearoa. Its distinctive botanical profile draws inspiration from the New Zealand coastline, combining traditional gin ingredients with native and coastal botanicals.
Thirteen botanicals make up the recipe, including native sea kelp harvested from New Zealand’s rocky shores, mānuka, thyme, lemon myrtle, orange, lavender, cardamom and cinnamon. Angelica root, orris root, liquorice root, coriander seed and juniper complete the botanical blend.
On the palate, clean juniper leads the way, followed by a subtle saline coastal character. Mānuka brings warmth through the middle, while bright lemon myrtle provides a fresh citrus finish. The combination creates a dry gin with herbal, citrus, floral and gently maritime characteristics.
