Temptatious Tūī Gin captures the flamboyant spirit of Aotearoa’s iconic Tūī bird. Handcrafted in Ōtorohanga by Pungent Pukeko Distilling Co., this gin blends peppery kawakawa leaves harvested at dawn with hand-peeled orange and lime rind for a vibrant citrus overture. Warm, resinous tōtara and woodsy rimu contribute depth, while a light dusting of golden bee pollen adds a subtle sweetness to the finish.

Steam-distilled in handmade copper stills over a neutral alcohol base, the gin opens with bright citrus clarity, moves quickly into kawakawa’s spirited tickle, and settles into a smooth, lingering forest-inspired character. At 45% ABV, this expression is delightful neat, over ice, or lifted with tonic and fresh botanicals.
