At 45% ABV, this small-batch gin blends steam-distilled native rimu and tōtara timber with kawakawa’s peppery warmth, bright citrus zest from oranges and limes, cooling eucalyptus, and a medley of fresh rosemary, mint and thyme.
Distilled above a whey-based neutral spirit in a gleaming copper still, Backyard Gin delivers a crisp London Dry style with a vibrant, garden-fresh palate. Aromas of citrus and herb lead into deeper notes of native wood and spice, making it delightful neat, with tonic and lime, or lifted with soda.
