Nowhere Bourbon is a cross-Pacific bourbon brand combining traditional American bourbon production with a distinctive Pinot Noir barrel finish in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand.

Nowhere Bourbon brings together American bourbon tradition and New Zealand wine-barrel influence. The bourbon begins its journey in Southern Indiana, where it is produced with an emphasis on patience, precision and traditional bourbon-making methods.

Maturation takes place in new, charred American oak barrels, developing the rich caramelised flavours, oak character and complexity associated with bourbon. Rather than ending the maturation process there, Nowhere Bourbon takes the spirit on a distinctly different journey.

The bourbon is transported from Indiana to Hawke’s Bay, one of New Zealand’s best-known wine regions. Here, it undergoes a secondary maturation in hand-selected Pinot Noir barrels, allowing the previous contents of the casks to influence the finished spirit.

The Pinot Noir barrel finish contributes layers of dark fruit and subtle spice alongside the bourbon’s underlying caramel and oak character, leading to a smooth, velvety finish. This combination of American bourbon production and New Zealand wine cask finishing gives Nowhere Bourbon its distinctive cross-Pacific identity.
