A handcrafted New Zealand London Dry gin combining seasonal pink grapefruit, native kawakawa and raw kānuka honey for a clean, smooth profile with refreshing citrus, floral notes and delicate butterscotch.
Holland Road Grapefruit & Kawakawa Gin is a handcrafted London Dry gin made from a premium sugarcane base and a selection of traditional gin botanicals. The botanicals are steeped in raw kānuka honey for 12 hours before being slowly distilled over six hours in Holland Road Distillery’s custom copper pot still.
During distillation, the vapour passes through a specially designed botanical chamber containing organic seasonal pink grapefruit and locally sourced native kawakawa leaf. This process introduces fresh citrus and distinctive New Zealand botanical character while complementing the gin’s traditional juniper-led foundation.
The resulting gin is clean and smooth, with a distinctive native aroma, delicate hints of butterscotch, refreshing citrus and a floral character. Its versatility allows it to work well with both neutral tonic water and soda water, while flavoured mixers can bring forward different elements of the botanical profile.
