Holland Road Classic London Dry Gin

A handcrafted New Zealand London Dry gin with a clean, juniper-forward profile, combining traditional botanicals with locally grown Seville orange, grapefruit and apricot.

Holland Road Classic is a traditional London Dry gin handcrafted by Holland Road Distillery in the Waikato. Created with an emphasis on classic gin-making traditions, it uses a premium sugarcane base spirit and a carefully selected combination of traditional and locally grown botanicals.

The gin is steeped in two stages before being slowly distilled over eight hours using Holland Road’s custom-made copper pot still. During distillation, the vapour passes through a specially designed botanical chamber, where a secondary infusion of alpine juniper strengthens the gin’s clean, juniper-forward character.

Traditional botanicals including juniper berries, coriander seed, angelica root, liquorice root, cardamom and orris root are complemented by locally grown Seville orange, grapefruit and apricot. The result is a clean and approachable London Dry style with prominent juniper and liquorice, subtle cardamom and a gentle fruity apricot character through the finish.

Holland Road recommends pairing the Classic with Indian tonic water or soda water. Its traditional botanical profile also makes it suitable as a base for classic gin cocktails as well as contemporary mixed drinks.
