Little River Gin 2022 is a limited edition, small‑batch spirit crafted by Elsewhere Gin in Christchurch. It features botanicals wild-foraged from the Little River area, including lemon verbena, pea flower, manuka blossom, and lemonwood blossom, steeped three times to create a clean and nuanced flavour profile. In the bottle, the gin is a striking pea-flower blue; when combined with tonic, it turns a lavender blush reminiscent of early mornings at Birdling’s Flat. With only 115 bottles produced, it carries a fragile beauty and should be kept out of direct sunlight to preserve its hue.
